Knowing the Walking Talking Commercial
Date: Sunday, August 10, 2008 | Time: 2:50 AM
How many people do you know who threaten you with black mail but actually just gives you a nuggie? Or better yet, someone who'll never let you forget that you happened to think the old-school dryer was a soap dispenser? What about someone who never let you forget that when you were 7 and 9 you decided that you wanted to cut your hair and it happened to turn out like alfalfa?
that's the walking talking commercial alright!
She's my partner-in-crime, even if I never let her forget the crazy things she used to do as a kid (and did this afternoon) and constatly baby her and talk to her as if I was way older than 10 months older than her.
We've been best friends (and cousins) for as long as we can remember. There were times we hated each other's guts and times we couldn't talk to anyone except for the other.
I remember a few Saturdays back we had our confirmation seminar. The topic was about the Holy Spirit and I happened to hear the woman say that the third image of the Holy Spirit was a duck.
"Hey Alie, I didn't know the thrid image of the Holy Spirit is a duck" I laughed checking my notes as we drank our coffee in select
"A duck? where'd you hear that?" She asked as she took my notebook from me
"The woman said it at the seminar... see!" I said as I pointed to it
"You idiot! You're not only idiotic, you're deaf! That's a DOVE!" She laughed.
She never let me forget that time.
Then there's that secret.... *sigh* don't you worry, one day when I've got nothing better to do, I shall share it with other people so you can laugh your arses off at it as well, but for now, it's just our secret... and a few other 'chosen ones''
Anyway, this is dedicated to you dear tormented one.
Btw, she really is a WALKING TALKING COMMERCIAL.
this afternoon, she made a commercial about jolly crunchy twirls, chuppachups, head and shoulders and a few other products without even realizing it!
"Head and shoulders makes my hair so smooth and it smells awesome not like dumb old clear! bleh!"
"I love chuppa chups, it's one of the best lollipops I've ever tasted!"
see what I mean!? Anyway, NATALIE ANN UNSON this is dedicated to you :D
