Quoted from the infamouse red shirt of Frank Iero.
At around 3 'o clock we were gathered at the chapel for a mass for Sr. Sto. Nino who's statue arrived at our school earlier today. The celebrator was a bit late so my friend and I decided to talk about the newest songs on MTV. I started to sing the chorus of 'I kissed a girl' by Katy Parry. He looked at me in a disgusted way and said 'Are you a Lesbo?' I bushed my eyebrows and said 'What the heck made you think that?' He pouted and said 'You're singing that lesbian song'. I asked him what was so lesbian about it when, in the song, she shows no interest for the girl she kissed and says something about 'I hope my boy friend won't find out'. I asked why he thought that and he replied 'They piss me off. Seeing gay people do that and stuff' With that, I agreed but when he said 'I don't like gay people, I really don't' it got me a bit irritated. I told him there was nothing wrong about being gay, people aren't born and are like 'when I grow up, I don't wanna be a guy/girl I wanna be *insert wanted sex here*' He explained himself but it made everything seem worse so i just told him to stop it.
I then realized that, that was the reason he yelled 'Hoy Bakla! Shut up!' when our two gay friends were laughing and joking a few minutes after break time. He shut the whole class up and got into a fight with two people who defended our friends.
I used to think he was so cool and stuff but, after today, I realized I don't like him as much. I can't stand people who disrespect other because of reasons not needed to be cited. And I can't stand people who judge and most of all, I LOATHE homophobics.
