Happy International MCR Day!
Date: Wednesday, July 23, 2008 | Time: 6:43 AM
Truth be told, I completely forgot that it was today, not for the reason that it isn't that important (to some people) but because I thought it was in August. Anyway, Mon reminded me at around... 7 this morning so I greeted everyone.
Int'l MCR day was made by the fans to celebrate MCR. I have no clue if it is official but I do know that it is celebrated.
Mon said they had pasta at her place and Trish celebrated (in spirit) with me and Joey. I made ala mode for everyone at home and Joey and I shared a bowl of mango icecream (which he ate half off!)
I played MCR the whole day and wanted to cry when I realized that their concert is finished and that they're coming back in 4 years (as they said)
Mum seemed quite enthusiastic about it as well :D
I enjoyed today, I enjoy anything related to MCR actually, like I'm celebrating for myself. Heck, I plan Gee's birthday before I plan my own!
I guess the reason these 'holidays' for MCR are so important to me is because... They're my heroes. Yes, I may sound like each and every MCR fan out there but it's true.
Those guys, without them, I'd be like everyone else... unhappy with themselves. Because of them, i love myself. I accept each and every part of me and even if I'm screwed up and feel alone, I remember that there are 5 guys out there who are as screwed up (or was as screwed up) as me.
If you haven't seem these guys before or heard a song, you're missing out on life itself.
suggestions:
1. The ghost of you
2. Welcome to the black parade
3. Disenchanted
4. I'm not okay
5. Cancer
6. Vampires will never hurt you
7. Demolition lovers
8. The desert song
9. Kill all your friends
10. Heaven help us

Keep the faith!
Gaby
